For the first time since defeating Portland on March 25–26 of last year, the Rockets’ rookie Jabari Smith Jr. recorded his third double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
“I believe we’re simply sick of losing, period. On the defensive side, we’re uniting and buying in,” Green said. “I believe that’s been assisting us.
Smith is the 12th player with at least three double-doubles in his first 18 games who is 19 years old or younger. In the first quarter, Smith also grabbed his 100th defensive rebound of his career.
