The Twins are aiming for their first victory since Monday going into Thursday. On Monday, they won 1-0 over the New York Yankees, but since then, they’ve fallen to the Rays and matched the Pittsburgh Pirates.
After a very poor 2022, the Twins are attempting to reclaim first place in the AL Central this season, but they have been inconsistent this spring.
After almost signing with the Giants and Mets, they did bring back shortstop Carlos Correa in the hopes that he can help them win back their division.
Due to the MLB lockout, the Red Sox and Twins will each play 19 games between March 17 and April 5 in a compressed spring training schedule.
