Sacramento held Brooklyn without allowing a single point on a second opportunity and only two on a fast break. Thanks to some defensive plays that Brown deemed to be among the greatest he had seen all season.
And to see it happen once more in this scenario, a back-to-back, was extremely encouraging. According to Brown, “because we’ll need to win games like this in the playoffs.”
It is safe to bring up the playoffs once more in California’s state capitol.
By halftime, Sabonis had 20 points and the. Kings had a lead of up to 17, but the Nets kept it close.
