Pakistan beat India in Asian Junior Squash Championship final. The 21st Asian Junior Team Squash Championship was won by Pakistan on Sunday over India at the Indian Squash and Triathlon Academy in Chennai.
Noor Zaman of Pakistan and Krishna Mishra of India engaged in a competitive first match in the final that lasted four games.
The opening game featured a tight matchup between the two players, but Noor persevered to prevail 12-10.

Krishna Mishra, however, prevailed in game two 11-9. In the end, Noor’s 3-1 victory in the last game allowed Pakistan to take a dominating lead.

The next match pitted Paarth Ambani against Pakistan’s Hamza Khan, a two-time Asian Junior champion and a British Junior champion.
Hamza easily defeated Paarth 3-0 thanks to his dominance of the contest.
The Pakistan Squash Federation posted on Twitter, saying, “Congratulations, Pakistan.
We are proud of Team Pakistan and say congratulations. In the 2023 Asian Junior Squash Team Championship final in Chennai, Pakistan defeated India to repeat as champions of Asia (India). India lost against Pakistan 2-0.
Pakistan and India won their respective semifinal matches over Malaysia and Korea, respectively, to proceed to the event’s final.
